10 Best Pieces of Art I found in Scandinavia

I am just listening to the Julia Cameron episode. I have definitely done the Artist's Way and I had forgotten about The Artist Date. Well.. my sister, mom and I are all into art and we looked at lots of art. I think the security guy at the National Museum in Oslo laughed at me when I asked if I could take pictures of the art.

    1. Lee Miller

There was a Lee Miller exhibit at an awesome library in Copenhagen. I am so glad I went. I LOVE THIS WOMAN! She was friends with Picasso. She also was at Dachau Concentration Camp when it was being liberated. My grandfather was a prisoner there. I would love to see all of her photos and see if I can spot him.

This photo is so simple. I don't know why it's so perfect but it is.

    3. Lee Miller

She was not just a great photographer she was GORGEOUS! She was fierce. I feel like she just did what she wanted to do. You need to see the photograph of her in Hitler's Bathtub. I didn't get a picture. Her and another guy were the first people there to take photos. She stripped down naked and hopped right in for a picture. She then took his silver serving tray back to her home and served wine on it at parties.

It just feels so normal and I love the lighting in the picture.

    6. Bjorn Carlsen

I did not get a great picture. I just love the chaoticness of this painting. I have no idea what is going on. It bothers me but I love the color..

    7. I never found a name for this one.

If you want to see it. Go to the National Museum of Oslo. You just wanted to touch it. It was giant balls of what looked like soft fluffy yarn.

    8. Kjartan Slettemark

I just loved it. The artist just had fun distorting his face.

    9. I didn't grab the name.

This was in an awesome totally wacky exhibit. Someone had built an odd shaped modern looking house. Put weird areas in each room. One room had only a phone charging in the wall. I didn't know if that was part of the exhibit or if someone was charging their phone but I am assuming it was part of the exhibit. This was hanging in one of the I guess you could call it hallways. I feel like it perfectly captures someone. I am totally bummed I don't have the artist's name.
