10 definitions of Insanity
I am traveling. Taking time off work. I am mostly observing and enjoying the moment.
I have been observing people in many places, including observing myself observing others, without any snap judgment.
I started thinking about what makes us sane or insane.
The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. -Albert Einstein.
Below are some definitions I give to insanity.
1. Insanity is having a salary and hoping to get rich
“The three most harmful addictions are heroin, carbohydrates, and a monthly salary.” ― Nassim Nicholas Taleb
2. Insanity is reading everything about productivity and not producing anything
3. Insanity is taking things at face value without questioning assumptions
Technological and scientific advancements render many assumptions invalid, incorrect, or even dangerous.
4. Insanity is doing things because everyone is doing them
5. Insanity is waiting for life to happen

Do not wait for the promotion to come to you. Go get it. Understand what needs to happen, who you need to reach out to, and what projects you need to work on to get you there faster.
6. Insanity is reacting to a cars honking with a shout, out of ego
I have seen this happen many times.
7. Insanity is thinking resting or vacation is a waste of time
8. Insanity is going to the gym and doing only one type of exercise/machine
And hoping to be and look fit.
9. Insanity is not being embarrassed of who you were a year ago
