10 lessons I learned from my cat

1. When you find a sunbeam, stop and close your eyes and wait for it to pass

2. Be as intense as you can be about food and companionship and care about absolutely nothing else

3. Lick people's faces until they don't mind it because it keeps them hygienic and reminds them they are basically kittens

4. Getting up to the highest part of any room is only satisfying when you have somebody to look down upon

5. Hating smaller animals is exciting short term but disappointing when they stop moving suddenly

6. Comedy is intentional awkwardness.

7. Intimacy comes with claws

8. Selfless love is possible only when one is fully rested and completely self posessed.

9. It's safe to let go at the end and know you will never be apart

10. Love is forever, but attachment is temporary.
