10 Pieces Of Mysterious Advice For Asking A Girl Out On A Date
I'm supposed to be on vacation.
But looks like @jay_yow07 is in trouble. So I feel compelled to help.
(And this challenge just made me laugh for some reason. LOL!)
So I couldn't resist writing something here. And imparting some helpful advice...
1. Give her a friendly gift first.
So you've been chatting a lot. You should know what she likes by now. It's time to start things off with a friendly gift. Just a casual one. But thoughtful.
2. Then slowly give her more gifts.
Not sure if you've played Stardew Valley before. But every girl has an internal heart meter. If you ask her out on a date before the heart meter is high enough, you'll fail. One of the easiest ways to get the heart meter higher is to give gifts. And more gifts.
3. Talk to her. More. And more. And more.
Another way to get the heart meter higher is to talk to her more. And more frequently. And more often. And more interestingly. And more charmingly.
4. Give handmade gifts. Stuff you made yourself.
I noticed that this is one of the best ways to shoot the heart meter up several notches. Give her something you made yourself. This will not only impress her. But it's a lot more touching than a store-bought gift.
5. Ask her to join you in an activity instead.
You might not know whether her heart meter is high enough to ask her on a date. So a good idea is to try asking her to join you in a small activity instead. Activities like sports, concerts, joining you on a podcast, or more. It's a level lower than a date. But if she won't even join you on an activity, then forget the date. You need to hit the small points first.
6. If that doesn't work then go virtual.
If she won't even join you in a physical activity, then the heart meter is way too low. You'll need to step down a bit. Try asking her to join you on a virtual activity instead of a physical one. It takes a lot less commitment. And it's a good start. Good virtual activities include online video gaming. It's one of the fastest and easiest ways to boost the affection bar with someone.
7. Continue giving her gifts.
Even on your activities. Physical gifts. Virtual gifts. It doesn't matter. It's all good.
8. Try to find out her birthday.
Gifts are worth even more hearts if they're given on her birthday. Special events count too. Thanksgiving. Christmas. New Years. And more.
9. Don't worry. Don't be needy.
The one thing that can turn everything around and destroy all your efforts is if you subconsciously start becoming needy. Don't be needy. Don't act needy. It seriously lowers the heart meter dramatically. Act like you don't need the date. If you get it you get it. If not, you just haven't given enough gifts and gotten the heart meter high enough.
10. You can finally ask her on a date.
If you've raised her heart meter enough... and you've done everything right... you can finally ask her on a date.
And she'll say yes.
Actually if you raised the meter high enough, you might even be able to skip the date and go straight to the marriage proposal. Good luck!
