10 places where you could find clients for an online service business

After reading someone on Twitter who says he finds most of his newsletter subscribers by commenting on Reddit, I figured I'd start doing that and I started mentioning my business rather than my newsletter. The same day, someone reached out through my website. I'm realizing more and more that finding clients doesn't have to be as hard as I thought. So I'm thinking: what are some places where one could find clients?

    1. Reddit

The guy I got this idea from runs the newsletter Exploding Ideas.

He mentioned this on Twitter in terms of promoting your newsletter. He said you can mention it every 200 or 300 words, if I recall correctly.

    2. Twitter

I started early last month, and I'm loving it. I see some people who are successfully finding clients by being active on Twitter, so I'm sure this could work for me as well. It's not my main purpose there, though.

    3. LinkedIn

I keep hearing great things about finding clients there by posting content, so this is definitely something I must start soon.

    4. Quora

    5. Medium

    6. Vocal

A writing platform I've never tried.

    7. Facebook groups

    Similar idea as Reddit.

    8. Instagram

    9. Telegram channels

Maybe create your own? They're not as popular as newsletters, so it might be an untapped resource.

    10. Discord communities

You could also create your own.
