10 practical ideas to put the ideas already got into profitable practice

1. Review and tag

For digital knowledge bases I use hashtag-keyword to label and group ideas. For example #character for ideas for my book on Virtue Ethics

2. Delete boring ideas

Boring ideas don't get to have idea sex. They can't multiply. They can't turn into an idea that can do that. Delete already.

3. Define and make pointy, punchy, and practical your Mediocre ideas

Problem with mediocre ideas is they're not pointed at sometime. When they get a point they become interesting ideas, and when they point is profitable valuable.

4. Review ideas adding “so I could benefit others” to each idea

5. Add to each idea, “one way I could use or adapt this idea to make money is…”

6. Add the love. One way this idea could uplift some specific or potential by being shared today is…”

7. Germinal ideas

Use the question behind the old idea to come up with another generation of questions based around that idea, like chicks around a mama hen.

8. Seminal ideas

Take the old idea and spin off random nonsense that doesn't have anything to do with the idea but opens your mind to profitable avenues today.

Immediately throw out all ideas that aren't likely profitable avenues today.

9. Listen to your old ideas.

What were you trying to achieve? Did it work out?

How may I serve you today? What action would honor you today?

10. Cross them out, put a timer on them, and put a “implement” on 1 for tomorrow

Some ideas came to pass or are irrelevant - cross them out

Some ideas might be fruitful tomorrow or next week or next month. Put a timer reminder on them.

Try implementing one idea tomorrow. It might become a habit.
