    Family, friends, but mostly having a sense of community

    3. Having a purpose

    Why wake up in the morning?

    4. Exercise

    Every day - whether it's gardening, shoveling snow, walking

    5. Avoiding smoking, drugs and too much alcohol

    6. Avoid risky activities

    7. Practice gratitude

    8. Invest in your health now

    Don't wait until you're older

    9. Build healthy habits now

    Eat until you're 80% full, practice fasting, meditate to relieve stress

    10. See your doctor regularly

    Even if something feels a bit off, better safe than sorry
