10 small improvements you can make to your life that make a big difference
1. Get nice shoes
You spend a lot of time in your shoes - might as well make them comfortable
2. Get a nice bed
Again, you spend about a third of your life in bed, make it a great and comfortable place to sleep in
3. Wear warm socks
On cold days, wear warm socks - makes a huge difference to your overall body temperature (at least to me)
4. Make your mouse move faster
The speed will take getting used to but you'll quickly find that you can do things faster on your computer
5. Learn keyboard shortcuts
For example, windows + V gets you access to a clipboard so you can check your history and copy paste from there.
6. Have multiple chargers
If you find yourself constantly trying to find your charger or move a charger from downstairs or your car to your bedroom, just purchase an extra charger.
7. Have bottled water in your car
A great way to stay hydrated without having to always carry around a water bottle
8. Get a library card
Usually free or at a very low cost and gives you access to a ton of things (books, digital content, courses)
9. Read a few pages a day
Even 5 minutes of reading adds up over a long time
10. Block off time for yourself
Get your biggest task done, or organize your emails and calendar, or use the time to think about what you want to do with your career.
