10 things I can't live without
Aside from the obvious food, shelter, clothing, etc.
1. Books
I don't see there being any better way to learn and improve myself than through books
2. Meditation
So many benefits that I can't even list here - if you haven't got into it, try it for 30 days.
3. Library
See #1 but a library also has many resources that people are likely not taking advantage of
4. Laptop
Make and model aren't that important but I do need a device to do creative work
5. My journal
Nothing helps me clear my head better. A dull pencil is better than a sharp mind.
6. My backpack
I feel like I can do anything and am prepared for anything as long as I have my backpack around
7. Index cards
So many uses - tracking your finances, for book notes, for to-do lists
8. Smartphone
Camera, phone, e-book reader and note taker all in one
9. Coffee
Although I never drank coffee throughout high school or university (aside from the occasional latte / macchiato etc. from Starbucks), I have gotten into good coffee nowadays
10. Stretching
I find stretching to be one of those things that I need more as I get older (in addition to exercise)
