10 things I learned from building an app on Replit

1. I am stunned by how powerful this system is

2. Usage for a small site is laughably cheap

Storage for 1 GB is 3 cents per month.

3. The California companies have been busy

I set up the Firebase login system, which will be free to use until I get to thousands of users. This took minutes instead of months.

4. Limits to AI coding are now in the users imagination: the technology can do it today.

5. It is helpful to have been a developer for as long as I have so that I know what to do, but it is no longer a requirement

This app is written in the system that I'm not very familiar with, but I don't need to know how to write the system I just need to know how to ask the questions

8. paying a little bit gets you a lot

I signed up `for Replit, and I was willing to bet $180 per year. Now, I have an unlimited army of developers for $0.05 per question answered.

9. Stitching together existing systems in novel ways will create many new businesses

10. working at this intensity hurts my brain

I am developing many AI skills, like muscles, but they still get sore. When I can do it in the morning, which used to take a month, it makes my head spin.
