    2. The Japanese sent micro subs which were battery powered with 2 men inside

    3. They decided to attack when there were 96 ships in Pearl Harbor

    4. Before the attack it seemed like Hawaii was a great assignment

Lots of recreation described by the author.

    5. It was a blitz attack and a complete surprise

People did not know what was going on until the planes started dropping bombs

    6. The Japanese were working from maps from 1933 that were inaccurate

    7. When the US fired back some guns were fired so many times in a row that the barrels were melting and flexing

    8. Hawaii in 1941 was a real paradise

It probably still is: I have never been.

    9. The Japanese were planning to make a second attack right away, but decided against it

    10. It is interesting to learn about this time before mass communication: nobody knew what was going on for hours
