10 things I remember from my childhood

1. Climbing up on the dresser to look at myself in the mirror, and realizing I could not see myself, even though I could see the reflection of things behind me

2. Going on an adventure with some older boys and passing though some trees , being able to see over a cliff to a large railroad yard below

3. Stopping a a roadside cafe where my dad ate a roast chicken

4. Getting into a fight with my best friend, and thinking out the strategy to beat him

5. Seeing a plane crash in the distance.

6. While living in NE France, my buddy's father took us to the nearby Maginot line and explained how the bunkers worked.

7. Going for a field excursion with my grade one class and seeing a Venus Flytrap up close

8. Waking up in the middle of the night to feed my baby brother

9. The first time I tried to ride an escalator
