10 things I've learned about setting and achieving goals
1. Create ridiculously ambitious goals
If you create 10x goals and only achieve 2x, well, that's double what you would have normally achieved
2. Systems are better than goals
At least for your personal life
3. Have your goals front and center
If you know what your goals are, it's easier to work towards them every day
4. Review your progress regularly
Considering the time and energy you spent so far and how much more you have to go, do the goals still make sense? How might you need to change what you do to achieve your goals
5. Build accountability
Telling others about your goals increases accountability
6. Enlist others support
Sometimes goals are too big for just you. Consider creating a team to help you.
7. Small progress every day = big accomplishments
Work on your goals every day
8. Make your goal exciting
Envision what your goal will help you achieve. Make it real. Add emotions.
