10 things that can be done in less than 5 minutes that will improve your life

1. Pray
Reach out to a higher power and humbly ask for guidance and assistance for yourself or others.
2. Get outside.
Every day. No exceptions. Even if you live on a submarine. It just takes more effort.
3. Accomplish one thing.
And then let yourself acknowledge that you accomplished something today that you don't normally do. It doesn't have to be a big thing. If you are generally untidy, make your bed. Cook yourself a meal instead of ordering take out.
4. Use the 1% rule.

5. Have a conversation with someone.
6. Make a list.
It's OK. You can throw it away tomorrow if you want. But make one today. And tomorrow. And the next.
7. Listen to the rain.
That's what I'm doing right now. It could also be a waterfall, a flowing stream, or the waves on the beach. And if you're really stuck, listen to the shower.
8. Share a hug.
9. Laugh
10. Make an outline for tomorrow.
It's easy to get stuck in the now. Make a conscious effort to keep one eye cast forward.
