10 things to do during the holiday break
No rest for the wicked, as they say
1. Exercise
Who says you need to wait until your new year's resolution
2. Review your year, plan for the next year
If you want a great way to do this, Michael Hyatt runs an annual program called your best year ever that walks you through the steps of how to plan for the next year.
3. Be grateful
A great opportunity to be thankful for what the year brought
4. Send gifts
Even if you can't send gifts, you can at least send kind thoughts to those close to you
5. Spend time with family
6. Make time to rest
7. Make time to read
I've got a lot of books to catch up on
8. Set your intention for the next year
Different from planning - your intention gives you an overarching vision to work towards
9. Get rid of clutter
Clothes that don't fit, books you don't think you'll ever read, gadgets and toys you won't ever use again - this is a great time to get rid of clutter
10. Reflect and be positive
Don't look back at your year thinking about all the things you should have done, think about all the things you did achieve instead
