10 things to do on a staycation
I don't need to travel but I should take some time off.
AI helped with a deliciously weird image! I guess this attractive but oddly portioned woman is cooking chili while sitting in an impossible chair in a park.

1. Rent a high end mountain bike for a day of riding
2. Day trip to the beach
3. Woodworking projects
Guitar stands, computer stands, desk organizers. Book shelves, tool caddies
4. Reading
Paper books. I have purchased a lot that I have not read yet.
5. Walk around local parks: bring the dog
6. Study guitar
7. Write more guitar books
The process is making me better. I might be able to make some money eventually.
8. Clean up the garage and my office
I tend to have "creative " workspaces: very cluttered!! I pull out all my tools at once and leave them out pretty much all the time. In my office I have empty boxes and clutter everywhere but I really don't notice. I say I am in "flow." My wife says I am a slob. Both statements are correct!
9. Cook something big on the grill like brisket or pork shoulder
This is relaxing and the process takes the better part of a day.
10. Cook some chili
This also takes the better part of a day.
