10 ways to beat an illness
I'm not a doctor and I don't play one on the internet - but these are the things I do if I start to feel a scratchy throat
1. Exercise
2. Drink a lot of alkaline water
3. Drink ginger and lemon tea
4. Take ginger shots
I like taking these shots ginger, turmeric, lemon and black pepper - lights a fire in your belly and seems to help keep me healthy
5. Drink warm soup
There's something comforting about chicken noodle soup or rice porridge
6. Get outside
Breath in the natural air
7. Go for afternoon walks
A nice form of exercise and a good way to get more sun
8. Boost your vitamin C intake
Oranges, grapefruit, vitamin C tablets
9. No stress
Relax, take some time to get better
10. Watch comedies
Laughing gets more oxygen into your system
