    1. Build community

Determine what you're posting about and who you want to connect with. Follow top-rated accounts and engage with people who engage with them. Start making it well-known what you post about and get people to follow you.

    2. Engage

Become a world-class commenter on other people's posts. Leaving insightful comments is a great way to get noticed on various platforms.

    3. Super-supporter

Promote others! The more you showcase other people by shouting them out, the more likely you are to get the same done for you. My best growth has come from mentioning other people and then watching them do the same for me on their own.

    4. Be active

The more you post, the more people will know you.

There is NO SUCH THING as posting "TOO MUCH" – this is BS. I know from first-hand experience. My record is 14 posts in one day on LinkedIn. Did anyone complain? Not once. Was my engagement at all-time highs? Absolutely. Did it get me incredibly well-known within my network of followers? You better believe it!

    5. Create content

Establish a structure for what you're posting about and when. Then get to it!

    6. 30-Days of Reels

Challenge yourself to do 30-days of creating 1 reel per day and post it.

    7. Post scheduler

Find a tool that you can use to schedule your posts. Some of them will only post to business accounts, so look into this if you only have personal accounts. Maybe you want to create a business account, maybe not...

I use Buffer or Taplio for LinkedIn – this depends on the type of post. I use Buffer primarily to create drafts of posts I'm thinking about.

    8. Create a group

Once you've gained some traction around the community & following, create a group and corral all the people who are your most supportive and engaged followers there.

    9. Track people

Create a list of who is engaging with your posts and figure out what you want to pay attention to. A spreadsheet is a good way to do this. Put their name and a link to their profile and why you're tracking them. Then be sure to keep engaging with them, get on calls, send messages, etc. to nurture that relationship.

    10. Double down

Once you've figured out what works and what doesn't, double down! Increase your efforts on whatever is working and GO HARD with it. You might need to reduce things a little on other platforms, but it will be worth it until you have some consistency and start figuring out what works well on other platforms.
