10 ways to get your morning started

    1. Have a ginger shot

    Ginger, lemon, turmeric, pepper - one shot in the morning and you'll never get sick

    2. Follow a mobility exercise

    The strength ones are great for waking up your body

    3. Change your clothes

    Gets you into the mindset of hard work

    4. Work on something without looking at email or your phone

    Don't get pulled into fighting fires - invest the best hour of your day in yourself

    5. Read a daily reader

    You'd be amazed at how many books you can go through reading one page a day

    6. Active the standing desk

    Sometimes I like to switch up to the afternoon because it helps keep me from feeling fatigue

    7. Plan your day

    What's ahead? What meetings do you have? What do you need to do? Don't leave any doubt as to what you will do if 30 min or an hour frees up

    8. Laugh

    A new part of my routine: watching standup and getting in a good laugh

    9. Grind coffee

    I grind my own coffee because I like how meditative it feels

    10. Visualize my day
