3 choices you always have in front of a situation. (And the worst choice to avoid)

No, but it' s too unfair

or else,

No, but it' s illogical

We often use these reasons followed by our complaints.

As if the (corporate) world is supposed to be fair or logical all the time.

In many cases, it isn't. And we are left with 3 choices:

    1. Attempt to change it

Often before decisions are made by developing your influence.

The more you succeed in your mission, the more credibility you gain, and the more your influence zone increases.

But be careful not to confuse influence with decision-making power. The decision remains in the hands of the decision maker. It is up to you to do your best to influence him/her until the day you become the decision-maker.

But never forget that even your CEO must try to influence his board. And the more credible he is in what he does, the more likely he is to succeed.

    2. Quit what you're doing

If the situation is unbearable. Your only choice is to leave.

    3. Accept

In this case, you decide to change yourself. This is totally within your circle of influence.

If you like what you are doing, if there are more positives than negatives, one option is to get back to the general direction and let go of that aspect that is bothering you.

    4. The worst case. Continue and suffer by complaining.

Because in the end, you are punishing yourself.
