1. Laugh at yourself often - seriously we all made it out of our childhood okay. There are no perfect teachers or parents. So lighten up and enjoy the time you have with your students or kiddos.

Teach Children the Process

2. Teach children the process not just the concept. How often do we say do this assignment or this task without teaching the child the how aspect. I teach students how to think, process and learn Chemistry.

Help Children

3. Be a helper to them. Listen to them and help them when they say I can't, I don't understand or I don't get it. Help them with their homework. Help them develop habits to clean their room.
