3 TOOLS TO RESTORE CREATIVE VIBE FOR OUT-OF-THE-BOX SOLUTIONS WHEN YOU ARE UNMOTIVATED, TIRED, AND NEED A VACATION
I’m talking to a lot of Founders/CEO these days to refine my Founders Circle coaching offer.
We are talking a lot about daily issues that make leadership challenging.
Like lacking creative energy to solve issues in an effective way - already too tired and overbooked!
Here’s a short 3-step routine to get your creative juices flowing again ASAP❗
1. REST WELL TODAY
Sleep for 8-10 hours ASAP!
Add something like a sauna or hot bath before bed (15-20 mins, lavender essential oil is amazing in it).
"Stressed brain" is in survival mode, that isn't good for creativity and lateral thinking.
2. HAVE FUN
Before creative brainstorming and looking for solutions, do something you do for fun, that feels like play. Even one hour is enough!
It sparkles new connections between different parts of your brain - creative solutions are all about connecting new dots, new brain regions, igniting new patterns firing.
3. ASK QUESTIONS
Before going to bed write down 1-3 creative questions you'd like your brain to think of while you are asleep.
Dreams are the best time to make the most unimaginable connections.
Use this time for what you need to be solved by priming your brain with the challenging tasks prior to bed.
The most important thing to remember here, actually a couple.
💡Only a rested brain that feels safe and in no distress can be truly creative.
💡Creative thinking requires “fermentation time” - pose the question, let it go by sleeping on it, engaging in playful activities, doing mundane tasks that require very little to none focused problem-solving.
