This country is truly a tax haven, particularly for non-Americans. Zero income taxes.

Dubai is just now instituting some corporate taxes. But only some companies will be paying the 9% tax. Most will continue to pay no taxes.
3. Reasonable Cost Of Living
Dubai has a reputation as an expensive place to live due to shows like Dubai Bling. But the average person has a medium cost of living. Yes, it is more expensive than third world countries but is cheaper than first world countries.
4. Great Beaches
Most tourists come here for the beaches which are truly great.
5. More Different Cultures Than Anywhere Else
This is one of the my favorite things about Dubai. It is the most cosmopolitan place on earth. Walk down the street and you will hear numerous languages yet every one of those people will speak English. Unusual! Most people are wearing their native dress rather than the Western dress found in other cosmopolitan cities like London or Geneva.
