You're not your brother's keeper, you literally are your brother.
1. The Dreamer of the dream.
When you realize that you are the dreamer of the dream is where the opportunity to escape can happen.
When you realize that you are the one who's pulling the strings is a great place to be.
If you're able to see that YOU are the dreamer of the entire dream from one of hatred to one of love.
2. The Hero of the dream.
If you become totally identified as a dream figure, if you are completely identified with a body, a person, or form, then you bought the ego's bait.
And all you can do is wander around and get lost in time and space.
3. Who is that?
One day, in the not-too-distant future, you will wake up and look in the mirror and wonder who is looking back at you.
Time eats up everything in its path.
Matthew 6:19-20 - 19. Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth, and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal. 20 But lay up for yourselves treasure in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
Heaven is not a place nor a condition. It is merely an awareness of perfect Oneness, and the knowledge that there is nothing else: nothing outside this Oneness, and nothing else within. What could God give but knowledge of himself?
4. Suffering from the "I know" mind.
If you think you know something about yourself or the world and how it works is being quite arrogant.
It is arrogant to believe that we have figured out the world.
We are deluded, psychotic, and schizophrenic thinking that we can understand a Personal Perspective of the world.
You can only be unhappy for one reason, you believe in something that is not true.
If what you believe in is true then why are you so unhappy?
If what you believe in is untrue then why are you so unhappy?
