A Pod Lesson: 3 Ideas
Did NOT feel like writing a list tonight. Something in the air. Though, the reaction to this desire to piss and moan like a child comes. I will still produce something.
-------------------------
Though, what it is I think you think of me is the portrayal I present. What's more, it's the vision of myself that worries.
I've listed twice now to an episode that will either make your skin crawl or have you make a change. Why? Towards the very end the host presented a challenge.
"Close your eyes and picture what a 78 year old person looks like."
What you just pictured is how you see yourself. Was it a strong and able bodied individual? Mine wasn't. So instead of envisioning the things you want in the future, picture yourself on a daily basis as the person you'd like to become.
I find this beautiful. It answers a lot of questions one might ask as to the how and why. Because you already know what it is you need to do.
That's what I got from it.
Some things to do when in a mood.
1. Write it out
It never fails and towards the end of writing out whatever it is on your mind. You feel better, even if not resolved (if it involves another) is best when something is resolved within you.
2. An Unseen Angle
I think at times where there is a question worth having within yourself, there is a lesson not learned. The tipping point towards a better you (or at least a more satisfied one) unravels an answer.
the best answers found are the ones we didn't know there was a question.
3. Expectations
It's always what's expected. Don't expect, except what's expected of yourself. (easier said than done!)
