1. Get rid of it. We survived for millennia without email. Who needs it now?
2. Accept it as a fact of life today and stop battling it.
3. Set aside a definite time to handle emails. And stick to it.
4. Like paper files, try to handle each email only once.
5. Folders can be your friend. (Not mine, but it works for those more organized)
6. Be VERY diligent about what you subscribe to or sign up for.
7. Most spam email is the fault of our own digital hygiene.
8. Unsubcribe can be tedious. But it does eventually help. Some.
9. Hire an email assistant. Like a personal assistant but with far less duties.
10. Do the best you can and accept that your inbox will always be your nemesis. After all, every hero needs one.
11. There are also commercial solutions that work for some: (Boomerang, Sanebox, Hiver, Mailstorm, etc.)
12. I have no experience with the applications listed, but they are available.
