Be realistic when you plan and optimistic when you execute
1. Any behavior change you initiate:
-Will take longer than planned
-Be more difficult than you thought
-Filled with unexpected events and distractions
-People around won't notice your progress.
-You'll be disappointed when you realize that it was only a good day but not yet a long-term result
-And it's never a (complete) win. There is always maintenance to be done.
2. Now that you know, stay optimistic about the execution.
-It's hard but I'll get there
-It's long but it's worth it
-I got distracted, but I'll get back on track
-I'm doing it for me first and they'll notice eventually
-This good day is a sign that I'm on the right path
- This new habit brings me joy and meaning, so why would I ever stop...
