Cheap but interesting dates

1. Picnic

Pack a picnic basket, tell your date to dress up but don't tell her where you're going, call an Uber Lux, sneak out and plant the picnic basket in the trunk, and go to a park. I did this once (before Uber, so it was a cab) to great success!

2. Walking tour

Do research and print out since info and a map. Be a tour guide for your date. Or better, you both make up fake stories about the places you see.

3. Board, card game, or puzzle at home

4. Garage sale or antique store

5. Visit an animal shelter

6. Find a great view somewhere

7. Visit the most touristy place near you

8. Volunteer together

9. Poetry or book reading

10. Factory tour
