Common 10-codes you may need to know

10-codes are mostly associated with the use of CB and public safety radio use. Although far less common than in years past, 10-codes are still used and some have even made it into the public lexicon. These codes are not universal. There are variations. The ones listed below are the most common that you may hear.

Out of service. Usually in conjunction with a reason or location. Ex. 10-7 for meal.
