1. When the ego invades a Truth Class.
If the ego showed up at a truth class, it would be like an uninvited guest that crashes the party, pretending to belong but constantly stirring up drama.
Instead of sitting in the circle and listening, it would stand at the door, whispering doubts, distractions, and judgments into your ear. It would compare everyone, make you feel like you need to compete or prove yourself.
It would remind you of all the things you’re supposedly lacking. The ego thrives on separation, so while the class is trying to unify minds, it would keep nudging you to be the special one, the exception, the one who just can’t be “fixed.”
The ego would also have a knack for twisting the teachings, convincing you that they apply to everyone else but not you. It loves the illusion of complexity, so it would find ways to make simple truths feel confusing, as if enlightenment requires a maze of hurdles rather than an open heart.
By the end of the class, if left unchecked, the ego would have you believing that you're right back where you started — lost, separate, and unworthy. The class would end, but the ego would ensure you missed the point, because truth, to the ego, is a direct threat to its existence.
Of course, you know the ego never actually showed up at the class — it’s just the illusion that you invited it in. But it’s your choice whether to send it back out the door.
