Feet on the Ground, Heart in Her Hands. (1 min 16 sec)

    1. Love That Stays Grounded.

I love her — there’s no question. She’s the sun rising in my morning, the spark in a quiet moment. But I don’t want to lose myself in the clouds with her. Love is real when it stays grounded. It’s not about floating off into some fantasy, drifting aimlessly like a balloon that’s lost its tether. Love is standing firm, side by side, with both feet planted in the dirt, feeling the earth beneath us.
It’s like standing at the edge of the ocean. I could dive in headfirst and get swept away by the tides, but I choose to stay on the shore. I want to feel the cool water at my feet, not drown in its depths. I’ll hold her hand, but I’m not chasing some dreamscape where the air is too thin to breathe.
The truth is, reality is rich. Clouds? They look beautiful from afar, but up close, they’re just mist — an illusion. I’d rather stay here, where I can feel the warmth of her hand in mine and hear the rustle of the wind through the trees.
But you know what’s funny? I wonder if she’d even want to be in the clouds with me. Maybe she’s just as grounded as I am, and we’re already where we’re meant to be — right here, together, in the real.
Just one more thing — if love feels real when it’s grounded, isn’t that where the magic really is? Not in chasing clouds, but in feeling the earth beneath you, together.
