Six quotes that stuck in my mind (although I can't find the exact sources)
The following quotes may be somewhat distorted. That doesn't change the fact that they've always given me food for thought.
1. If you want to be loved, love!
A Spanish or Latin proverb: Si vis amari, ama!
2. If you are not, what you are is not. (Neale Donald Walsch)
This (probably) means that if you haven't found yourself yet, you will always be confronted with what you are NOT.
3. Those who avoid us show that we should avoid them.
A Sufi proverb?
4. Stick to your own opinion! If you don't, you'll often find out afterwards that you were right after all.
By Arthur Schopenhauer somewhere in his "Aphorisms on the Wisdom of Life"
5. How to write? You need to have something to say. Oh, that gets you far!
Also by Arthur Schopenhauer.
6. What is enough is never too little.
By Lucius Aennaeus Seneca.
This saying is especially useful for entrepreneurs: even when things are tough, you will learn and opportunities will arise just because you stick around. The lower your requirements, the longer you can stay in business.
