The plan that hasn't changed in 13.8 billion years, or indeed ever, is God's plan for salvation. This plan is eternal and unchangeable because it reflects the unchanging nature of God's love and the reality of our oneness with Him.
God's plan for salvation.
1. We are all eternally one with God, and the separation from God never truly happened. It is merely an illusion born of the belief in the ego.
2. God created us as perfect, eternal, and infinite beings. Our true nature is love, just like our Creator.
3. The Holy Spirit is the link between our minds and God, to guide us back to the remembrance of our oneness with Him.
4. Through the practice of forgiveness and choosing to see with the Holy Spirit's perception, we undo our belief in the ego and awaken to the truth of our eternal unity with God.
5. As we awaken spiritually, we realize that we never left Heaven and that the journey of separation and return was all a dream. We are forever safe and loved in God.
While the details of our individual lives may vary, the content of the curriculum (forgiveness) and the ultimate outcome (awakening to oneness with God) remain the same for all of us. It is a plan that is certain and already accomplished in truth, and our task is simply to accept it and allow it to unfold in our awareness.
