I've kept a running list of things that I'm grateful for in my journal for a few years in an effort to develop a more positive outlook. It's been a huge help, along with meditation exercise and medication (people like to omit the last one, but drugs save my life and it wouldn't be fair to leave pharmacology and nutrition out).
NotePD can be a great place to build your own gratitude muscle like @BillBergeman here. Just start easy with one or two things you are deeply thankful for and see what happens!
1. I am grateful for treasured friends.
People who are supportive in troubled times with seemingly no expectation in return are irreplaceable.
