How do you go about New Year Resolutions?
Going to make a change this year, but a few things will stay the same.
1. Give everyone in the family a notebook
So they can journal or write whatever they want in the next year.
2. Take a couple days ahead of the New Year to start thinking
Personally, I like to take time to think about things.
3. Review the previous year (Using last year's notebook)
I usually underestimate how much I've done/accomplished in the previous year. It's nice to review and think about the memories. Think we are all very hard on ourselves.
4. What could you have done better the previous year?
5. What would you not change?
What worked?
6. New Change: use the Warren Buffett 5/25 rule
From @JamesAltucher . Think of the 25 things I want to focus on. Make a top 5. ONLY focus on the top 5.
7. Revisit often
See how you are doing. I used to journal everyday, but not as often lately.
