How to be a better team player?

Have played many sports and have worked on teams in the business world.

1. Most things are not Zero Sum

There can often be many winners. Besides sports, almost everything can have many winners.

2. A rising tide lifts all boats

If you help others succeed, you are surrounding yourself with winners. That in turn, will help you win.

3. Helping others is often a better feeling than winning alone

4. There's no "i" in "team"

But, there is a "me." So, not sure what to say about that!

5. When you help, people will want to help you more

Even though you shouldn't keep score, people know when they owe you. And if those who "owe" you don't help, now you know not to trust them anymore.

6. Build a fanbase

Winning together builds you fans.
