How to gain a peaceful mind
I almost forgot to write my list! :O. Too focused on my business. So easy list whilst I walk to see friends.
1. Meditate
The secret isn't a calm mind it's noticing thoughts and then returning your focus to breath. To take control and say no, I'm in charge this is what we're focusing on.
2. Journal
The key isn't in writing your thoughts it's in seeing how you think. Maybe you treat opinion as fact, maybe you focus on what's outside your control, maybe you ask bad questions 'why does noone like me?' instead of better questions 'how can I become more popular?'. Figuring out how you think allows you to adjust and think better.
3. Create
Make something each day, or work on something bigger each day. Idea lists fall in to this category. So does painting, gardening, writing, filming ect.
We are creative beings. Create and you'll find meaning.
