How to start a Podcast

1. Keep it simple

Start small. I use Anchor to host my podcast. It's easy and free to use. I can also record from my phone and publish my podcast straightaway.

2. Don't worry about fancy stuff

I've recorded a number of different podcasts. Some on my own, some just me talking, others with a guest, one as a collab. In the early days I did a lot of editing but needed to save some time so I found ways to record without needing a lot of edits.

3. Simple kit

I either use my phone or my Blue Snowball to record.

4. YouTube

When I've been interviewing someone I've recorded our conversation via YouTube and then extracted the audio.

5. Canva

I use Canva to create the podcast graphics.
