I would like to learn how to read the Bible again
After years of reading the Bible through an Evangelical / Prosperity Lens, I find it difficult to read the Bible. Most of the time I just see the cherry-picked verses that were taken out of context or prioritized above others.
There are some amazing apps, but they all seems to come through the same groups. I would like to read the the Bible from a different perspective.
1. I would like to read the Bible and learn Theology from more diverse writers
Other folks wrote Theology outside of America. I'm sure there are folks with some interesting ideas
2. I would like to read the Bible alongside history, not apologetic books
How did the early Church fathers and European Theologians read the Bible and think about God? Unfortunately, I suspect that like all of us they were definitely products of their age and their ideas are just as creaky.
3. I would like to read the Bible from an Open and Relational Theology perspective
I don't know much about this. I would like to read more about this
4. I would like to read the Bible from a Process Theology perspective
I don't know much about this. I would like to read more about this
