Ideas to Solve New York's Rat Problem

Instead of "small rat traps" (you know those little black boxes at the corners of every alley), why not have one giant rat trap?

For example, find retired garbage trucks and recycle them. Design them to entice rats in but not out. This way you can collect hundreds or thousands of rats in any given area rather than have a rat trap company collect and dispose every couple weeks.

What to do with them is a whole other question...
