    1. The hardest part about the forgiveness process is that we want to hate, we want to judge, and we want to separate.

    2. As we go through the forgiveness process we realize there is a part of our minds that doesn't want to forgive.

    3. There's a part of our minds that wants to hold onto hatred.

    4. And all we experience when we show up like this is - not love.

    5. And this part of our mind has the challenging task of trying to push a heavy boulder uphill, which is difficult and futile.

    6. Even when we're "right", we're wrong.

Even though we feel justified, we're wrong.
Even when we wear a Cheshire grin on our faces, we're wrong.
    We've missed the mark.
We didn't make any new friends.
    We didn't feel loved.
We didn't cause another to feel loved.
    We didn't pull anyone closer.
We inadvertently forgot to embrace the idea of hugging.
We failed to extend our hands.
How can we assert that we are "right" when these actions do not align with the qualities of love?
