Keep Your Streaks Going with Our Streak Calculation and Freeze Feature!
Streaks are a great way to track your progress and motivation, and our site makes it easy for you to keep track of your streaks. Our streaks are calculated once a day at 12 AM based on your local time zone. If you haven't created any posts for 2 consecutive days, your current streak will reset to 0.
But don't worry, we understand that life can get in the way sometimes, which is why we offer a 24-hour grace period for every user to maintain their streaks. For example, if you created a post on Wednesday but didn't post on Thursday, you can still use your grace period to keep your streak going. However, if you only created one post on Friday instead of two, your streak will increase by one day but you won't have a grace period left to use.
In case you run past the grace period, we will send you a notification to remind you to either create a post or freeze your streak. The Freeze feature allows you to temporarily stop your streaks and start again from where you left off the next time you post. If you choose to freeze your streaks, we will provide you with a grace period again once the freeze period is over.
Here's another example to help clarify:
You created posts on days 1, 2, and 3. Your streak was 3. You didn't create a post on day 4, but it was considered as part of the grace period. On day 5, you created one post, and your streak became 4. On day 6, you didn't create a post, which broke your streak. To increase your streak to 5, you need to create a post on day 5 or 6.
We hope this helps you better understand our Streak Calculation and Freeze Feature. If you still have any questions or confusion, feel free to comment, and we'll be happy to resolve your queries. Let's keep those streaks going!
