Last Ten Things I Bought On Amazon
We have Prime, and get our money's worth. If it saves a trip to a store, I'll order it from them. And am not ashamed to order one small item if that's what I need, especially if I want/need it the next day or overnight.
1. Fels-Naptha Soap
Made with lye, it does a great job cleaning golf club grips. Octagon is better, but can't find it anywhere at a reasonable price (over $100 per bar???)
2. MaryRuth Liquid Zinc
I prefer liquid supplements, and this is a good one.
3. Coconut Oil
For my coffee in the morning, and for the pooch's dry food in the morning.
4. Monk Fruit Liquid Sweetener
Just monk fruit... for my AM coffee.
5. Texas Instruments TI-84 Calculator
For our son's math class this year.
6. PUR Chewing Gum
For our son... wanted sugar-free, and this has Xylitol... just need to make sure pooch doesn't get to it, since it is poison for dogs.
7. AquaClear 50 Power Fish Tank Filter
My old filter (at least 15 years old) crapped out. And thanks to Amazon, had a new one the next day.
8. Concession Essentials Flavacol
Popcorn fans... wonder why you can't get your home popcorn to taste like you get it at the movies? Best idea I've gotten from social media in the last several years. This is the specialty salt they use to get that movie theater taste. It is fantastic! Ten dollars for 35 ounces, which will last a long time. I put it in the popper with the corn and olive oil. Add butter after it's done. And enjoy!
9. Aluminum Cat Litter Scoop
Since the wife hurt her back last May, I've been doing the cats (3) litter box for her. She always got plastic scoops, which suck. Broke down and got a strong scoop, which makes the nasty task a lot easier. Especially with our male cat who whizzes like a race horse leaving softball sized clump.
10. Wrist Lanyard for Whistles
I use a wrist lanyard for my whistle while officiating. This is a 1/4" thick cloth/rubber band which is adjustable and allows me to drop the whistle catch / toss the ball when needed, but not have to look for where it went like you have to do with a neck lanyard, or trying to catch / toss with a finger whistle.
