"Miracle Shots" That Could Be Taken Every Day

I noticed a guy named Ty Frankel on LinkedIN suggest taking 5 "miracle shots" per day.

His post in its entirety is...

A piece of advice that's driven lots of my success:

Take 5 “miracle shots" a day.

Cold email that Fortune 500 CEO.

DM that famous influencer.

Pitch your service to $100M CEOs at a live event.

A "miracle shot" is basically like a full court basketball shot... it has a .1% chance of going in.

But take enough miracle shots…

You’ll be surprised you'll eventually start to make some.

Take just 5 miracle shots a day.

Watch your life change.

Ty, out

So my list is going to be 10 ideas of miracle shots I could take in my life.

In the comments I'd welcome more ideas from readers.

After this, my next idea list should probably be WHO I could hire to take some of these "shots" for me.

    1. Write to businesses with expensive products and services, that I want to use and ask them to give it to me for free in exchange for an extensive case study they can use in their marketing.

I suppose this will work better once I've done a few I can point to as examples but you gots to start somewhere.

    2. Ask millionaires and billionaires for $1,000,000.

If I was 40 years younger this would be a great tik tok series. As a 54 year old, it would not go over well in terms of public criticism. So I won't actually be doing this one. other than, uh, @JamesAltucher...how about it? :)

    3. Figure out WHO could get me 10 or 20 or 100+ clients in one fell swoop for my SMS Marketing business...InstantHungryCustomers.com. Reach out to them.

This starts with the question, who benefits from a food business getting more customers? Obviously, the owners, their families, the employees and their families are at the top of the list. But for my purposes, suppliers make the most sense. Who sells them their food, cleaning supplies, take-out containers for starters. InstantHungryCustomers.com

    4. Make exotic bets at the track

I probably won't actually do this one either but I could. Growing up one town over from Saratoga Springs NY. I'm keenly aware of the money to be made (and lost) at the track. I lost $40 in 1982 and didn't make another bet until 2018 which was a winner. These days you can bet as little as 10 cents but I'm not going to waste my time on this one. As a wise man once said..."don't bet on anything that eats and poops."

    5. Will Work For Equity

Send 10 ideas to companies you like. Offer to be the implementer of those ideas in exchange for equity in the company...or a board seat or a fee for implementing.

    6. Sell me your business

Make $0 down offers to businesses I think I could improve.

    7. Make 50% offers on all local homes for sale.

I remember reading about this idea 20 years ago… A couple guys sat down and simply made 50% offers on everything in the MLS. They got a lot of hate but they also made a lot of deals.

    8. Contact 100+ leaders in a field and have them contribute one idea for a book in their niche. Publish the book along with your own ideas.

"101 Ideas For XYZ from XX Leaders In the Field" OK...that wasn't a great book title but setting up this collaboration will get you known by leaders in your field.

    9. Will Work For Free (The Godfather Offer)

Come up with your dream list of companies you want to work for and send them an offer to work for free for a certain period of time or until you've reached an outcome or goal. "I'll get you 10 new clients before you have to pay me".

    10. Send live working cellphones to people I want to talk to.

I've actually done this and 30% got in touch but never used the phone I sent. What I should have done but didn't was followed up two weeks later with the plug. "I sent you a phone a couple weeks ago but it's probably dead by now...plug it in and give me a call. I've started a podcast about unusual ways people have gotten their foot in the door.
