1. The great divider or a mask for fear?
We often like to think that having "morals" makes us good, better, or somehow special in this world. But isn't this just another ego trick? Morals can be a subtle weapon, reinforcing the idea that there’s a "right" and a "wrong" side, an "us" and a "them." This illusion of superiority not only breeds separation but cloaks itself as virtue.
ACIM teaches that separation is the root of all suffering. So when we cling to moral high grounds, aren’t we just digging the gap deeper between ourselves and others, between us and our own peace? Morals may seem like a righteous banner, but if they're built on judgment, are they really leading us Home? Or are they another trap to keep us in the illusion of right versus wrong, love versus fear?
It’s time to ask: Is morality guiding you to true connection — or is it just another tool the ego uses to divide?
