These could be groups that collaborate on riffs or Melodies or mastering or groups that write songs like a rock band

7. Have the concept of “companies” for people that can work together to create finished products

This would be groups that can take a project from start to finish

Microsoft Teams does this, so does twitch and I know there are companies that work on low latency audio

9. Pay artists/groups for streams

You could use cryptocurrency for this to create "shares" of publishing. Crypto would let you split a project into 1000s of contributions and pay or track fractional pennys for royalties.

if there was a viral song that was either paid for or supported by advertising it could allow people go get paid from the platform

10. Musicians are generally an anti authoritarian group: maybe it could be managed as a DAO

This could be a recipe for disaster but it is also a viable use case for a DAO. You could have software developers and content creators and marketers earn shares of crypto NFTs and voluntarily contribute to the project with the possibility of a useful stake of a percentage of the total.
