Odd (but reasonable) things to add to mac&cheese

OK, most of these aren't that odd but....

1. Crumbled ground beef

7. mushrooms

8. breaded mushrooms

9. brown gravy

don't overdue

10. Peppers

take your pick. Bell, red, green, jalapeno, etc.

11. Cherry tomatoes

Never tried it. You will have to let me know.

12. Spinach

Mom used to make a similar dish but with egg noodles instead of macaroni. Should work the same and taste great.
