Owning your time is freedom
An exchange I had on Twitter this morning.

1. Sunrise
I take a lot of pictures of sunrises and sunsets. I love the colors. We had this one this morning. I had the time to wait for the best shot I could get.

2. CPI Report
Had time to dig into a lousy, but fascianting report on price inflation.

3. Client call
Important part of what I do. Keeping clients as informed as they want to be is how to keep clients.
4. Hazmat Grant
Sat in on a conference call for Walker Fire to be able to apply for a Hazmat grant from the state.
5. It's raining here
July is our rainy season. This is important for many reasons not the least of which is reduced fire danger. I've been in my treehouse/office doing all these things all morning and now there is baseball on. I love watching baseball or more correctly having it on while I do other things.

6. The point
How I structure my day surely means nothing to you but the point is this is exactly what I would want to be doing any day. Engaging markets, helping Walker Fire, enjoying baseball and ready/able to respond to a fire department call for service at any time.
That is my idea of freedom. What's yours?
