Projects I'm Working On - Next Steps

I'm writing a book, based on diary entries, about my time in Japan. I've written a lot (Over 26,000 words). I've gathered all my chat logs, paperwork and photos to back up my points. What's next?

Friends story(s) - It would be nice to add a few more stories to the end of the book to show that it's not a one off event. Everyone who works for Nova has a miserable time.

Censor - I'm unsure if I can legally how much of my evidence I can show. Can I write peoples names? I'll need to look into and censor anything that needs censored.

Page Layout - I need to adjust the page layout and format the book, so everything is looking perfect.

Calendar - I liked the idea of the contents page being a calendar, with my diary headings.

Name - I'm unsure what to call my book. I'm sure a name will come to me soon. No need to worry about it.

I'm still working away on this book. Still touching up my current draft of the book. I hope that after this draft I can spell/grammar check and publish the book, but we'll see. Proud of what I've written so far.

Me and my friend are starting a photography business. Currently we're building up our portfolio and getting our name out there.

Edits - I've got a lot of photos that need editing. I need to work my way through the hundreds of photos we took, get rid of the less than perfect ones and touch up the best to make them even better.

Portfolio - I need to look through all my photos and pick out the best of the best to showcase on social media/our site. I'd like to have different portfolios showing different styles/locations.

Email/Site - We need to pick out a website builder and an email client. Google workflow looks great for emails. We're still unsure about what website builder to use.

Pricing - We need to set out a price list. Travel and editing time need to be factored in too.

USP - What is our unique selling point? People always point out our personalities and how we don't intrude on the event. I think this is a big factor we should look into.

I'm living with my parents again. Not much space in the house. I should look into getting my own place.

As much as I want my Photography business to kick off I need money coming in now. I should touch up my C.V and start sending it out to places.

I'd like to make a few new comics. I've more advice I'd like to share in 'The Rocco Effect' comics. I'd also like to share some of the Japanese i learnt in Easy! Japanese comics. People are loving Easy! English, so I'd like to continue with that, even if i'm currently unable to translate them.

I haven't written a new joke in a long time. My focus has been on other things. Hopefully I can start writing jokes again soon, i really enjoy it.

Once I've written a few new ones I'd love to perform again.

I want to start writing lists again. I enjoy the challenge. Lists helped improve my writing and thinking. As you can see I'm working on a lot, but hopefully I can find pockets of time during all this to share some top quality lists again.

I spend most mornings working away on something here for the first few hours of my day. I really enjoy it. I'm happiest when I have a project to work away on. It's nice to watch them progress.

Life's looking pretty good.
