Reading Sources I Wish I Could Amalgamate into a Single Pane/Interface

    1. Pocket

This is currently my main/best 'Read For Later' source. The mobile app can do text to speech so I can listen to articles rather than read them.

    2. Twitter Bookmarks

Most of my Pocket Reading List is sourced from Twitter Bookmarks. I have to port the links manually - I used to use IFTTT to automate but the trigger for IFTTT is 'Liking' a tweet, which meant a lot of simple tweets I simply 'liked' got saved. There doesn't seem to be a hook/trigger for bookmarks, unfortunately.

    3. Facebook Saved Links

    4. Feedly/RSS Feeds

RSS and Blogging aren't completely dead, but I used to read a lot of blogs back when I blogged regularly myself. Some of my 'Blends' (Blog Friends) are still active, and I should try to keep up with their adventures

    5. Podcast Text to Speech

I'm not much into video or audio content (I like listening to music, I guess, and there are some YouTube channels I enjoy) for keeping myself informed. I find I can read faster than people can talk, and that's without any awkward pauses or 'umms'. If podcast transcripts got fed into a reading interface, that might be something.

    6. Magazines

I see articles from Men's Journal, Men's Health, Outside, Cottage Life and others from their social media and grab them that way, but there are probably lots of other interesting articles that escape my notice.

    7. Newsletters

I never sign up for these, even when they look like they'll be interesting, because my inbox is already too full, and that content would get lost in the shuffle.

    8. Flipboard

I used to use this app which basically let you assemble your own magazine from topics that interested you. If I went back and looked at my account, there would probably be good stuff in there, though not necessarily customized enough to be *exactly* what I want to read.

    9. Journaling Prompts/Daily Reflections/Inspirational Quotes

If I was building a daily reading digest, this kind of material would be useful.

    10. The News (probably from a Newspaper)

The 'if it bleeds, it leads' nature of news gets me down sometimes, and the last thing I need is having my outrage button pushed, but still, staying informed on current events is probably important.

    11. The Mighty

A site on disability, chronic illness and mental health that I have contributed to on occasion. Important stuff I don't find the time for.
